This was a special evening

On 20 September, the Bristol Hotel hosted the long-awaited cultural event, The piano concert of Ignacy Paderewski music with the 1920s and 1930s fashion show, organised in partnership with Vision Group, ELA PIORUN, Hotel Bristol and Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A.

That Thursday evening we and our guests travelled to the times when Poles rejoiced in the recently regained Independence. It was possible thanks to a brilliant performance by Krzysztof Książek, an award-winning pianist, and his wife Agnieszka, who played the music of the outstanding Polish artist and statesman Ignacy Jan Paderewski. The event was enriched by a vintage fashion show conducted by designer Ela Piorun.

Our event was received co-financing from the Niepodległa 2017-2021 Multi-annual Grant Program and received the support of a number of government, business and media organisations (Embassy of Georgia, Embassy of Belgium, PGNiG, KPMG Poland, American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, PLL LOT, Poczta Polska, TVP Kultura, Telewizja Republika, PolskieRadio24.pl, DoRzeczy). Prof. Piotr Gliński, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and National Heritage has endorsed the event as the Honorary Sponsor.

We are pleased that we could celebrate the centenary of the regaining of Poland’s independence in the company of exceptional guests: ambassadors, diplomats, public officials, businesspeople and man and women of culture and, last but not least, friends of our Foundation.
