At the beginning of 2019, Małgorzata Bogusz was appointed President of the Kulski Foundation, replacing Barbara Ratajska.
Ms. Bogusz has been working with the Kulski Foundation since 2016. Prior to her appointment, she supervised the key Foundation projects and provided advisory services to the Foundation Council in the area of international activities.
“I see my appointment as President of the Board as an expression of great trust from the Founders Council. For me, working closely with Professor Julian Eugeniusz Kulski is both a remarkable challenge and the great opportunity, especially in 2019, the year marking so many historical anniversaries close to the heart of the entire Kulski family. I must admit that personally I also see it as a great honor,” Ms. Bogusz said.
In 2019, the efforts and activities of the Kulski Foundation team will focus on commemorating a number of important anniversaries, including the 75th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II, and the centenaries of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and different states after regaining independence in 1918.
One of the key areas of the Foundation’s activity in 2019 will be the bringing of projects that so far have been implemented domestically to the international level.
“This year, we are focusing on, among other things, building new platforms for dialogue and active cooperation with representatives of opinion-forming circles and public administration to develop a positive international image of Poland. Our international work is primarily aimed at strengthening relations between Poland and its key allies, including the United States of America,” Małgorzata Bogusz comments.
In February, the Kulski Foundation will launch new communication channels, Youtube and Instagram profiles, to provide up-to-date information on its work.
